About the artist:
Marianna Grynchuk is a pianist of Ukrainian origin. Born into a musical family, she began her musical studies with her mother at the age of 4. Her family immigrated to Australia, where Marianna continued her studies with Eleonora Sivan and Gabriella Smart, completing her Bachelor's degree with them at the University of Adelaide.
Marianna is a graduate of the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève, where she obtained two Master's degrees with Fabrizio Chiovetta and Paul Coker. She continued her studies with Konstantin Lifschitz at the Hochschule Luzern. She is currently finishing a Master's degree in Musicology at the University of Geneva.
Marianna began giving recitals at the age of 11 and has since continued to perform as a soloist and chamber musician all over the world, in particular in Australia, Ukraine, USA, Italy, Russia, Germany and Switzerland. Her first solo disc for Sheva Collection was released in 2016, and her second in 2019 featuring Liszt's Sonata in B minor.
In addition to her performing career, Marianna is the founder of the Elpida Association for Cultural Integration, which aims to help refugee children and musicians integrate and flourish through music.
