In this intimate concert overlooking the extraordinary vista of the Aldinga Scrub and Willunga Hills, the Inarma Choir sing for their Community – raising funds for music workshops in July 2022.
In 2022, Soundstream’s annual donor campaign to raise $15,000 supports two Music Workshops in Titjikala Community for the young men, and women of all generations.
Supporting the younger women and men as emerging musicians to join the Choir and Band through these workshops increases community access and participation, and strengthens intergenerational cultural connection. By joining the Choir and the band, the young women and men will be given the opportunity to share their culture with the world. They will bring their proud spirit back to Community, strengthening not the lives of their families and the whole community. In addition, they will learn musical and professional skills that will give them the opportunity to walk in two worlds – that of their own culture, and that of the western world.
