Cat Hope is a multi-award-winning Australian composer, sound artist and musician. Her music is conceptually oriented and explores tonal extremes in the combination of acoustic instruments and electronics, especially in the low-frequency range.

For ten years she has been working closely with the pianist, composer and improvisation artist Gabriella Smart, one of the leading representatives of contemporary music in Australia.

Cat Hope ist eine mehrfash preisgekrönte australische Komponistin, Klangkünstlerin und Musikerin. Ihre Musik ist konzeptionell ausgerichtet und lotet in der Kombination von akustischen Instrumenten und Elektronik klangliche Extreme besonders im niederfrequenten Bereich aus.

Seit gut zehn Jahren arbeitet sie eng mit der Pianistin, Komponistin und Improvisationkünsterlin Gabriella Smart zusammen, einer der führenden Vertreterinnen aktueller Musik in Australien.
