Soundstream, with the Foundation for Contemporary Music & Culture Inc. (VIC), presents cult icon Eugene Chadbourne On The Fleurieu.

Don't miss out on seeing him play his genre-defying, boundary smashing mix of psychedelic punk, folk, spiritual jazz, experimental, Shockabilly, Freedom-Lovin' repertoire.

Thanks to everyone who joined us this past weekend for our performances of Considering Matthew Shepard!

Conducted by Jesse Budel and performed by soloists Mark Oates and Jennifer Trijo alongside a stellar ensemble of Adelaide choristers and instrumentalists, these performances took place on the 25th anniversary of Matthew’s death.

Both performances received standing ovations, and were critically acclaimed in reviews by Chris Reid for Limelight Magazine and Kym Clayton for The Barefoot Review.

“Conductor and musical director Jesse Budel has assembled a superb choir and excellent musical ensemble, which are joined by soloists Mark Oates and Jennifer Trijo. Musically, the result is first rate...” – Kym Clayton for The Barefoot Review

This production is made possible through the generous support of the Elder Conservatorium of Music (The University of Adelaide) and the Parkestone Foundation, as well as numerous donations through an Australian Cultural Fund campaign.
